Does God know I exist? 10.5.20
God's pretty busy
All the time
There's so much He's doing
Yet He never tires.
The mornings and evenings
Skies in indescribable shades
Sun moon constellations
Silent Praise.
Oceans measured out
Forest creatures named
Golden notes springing forth
Each bird brightly plumaged.
He's also knitting
Barely- there little ones
The bodies fragile transparent
The genetic code in place.
Keeping a track
Hair count, step count
Our coming- ins
Our going- outs.
Protection
Dangers seen and unseen
Light for our paths
A shade and a screen.
Being on call
24 x 7
No offs down time
Amazing, He doesn't mind.
He knows words
Before we speak them
Sees right down
To our hearts
Attitudes,
thoughts
motives
Discerned by Him
What can we say but
'How great Thou art!'
Plans and preserves
Our marriages
The third cord
In the strand;
The One
Indispensable
We need Him
For our marriages to stand.
Spas for our feet
And our weary souls
Rest and refreshment
When we need it most.
Our souls washed
In the blood of Christ
Wrinkles ironed out
pure and bright
Gushing spring of water
Never running dry
Water from the rock
Replenishing our thirsty lives.
Banquet prepared
Table laid
His banner over us
Pure love.
The stars above
Hush us to a reverent awe
He's mindful of us
Rejoices over us
Sings over each one
'good to have you Home.'
Our Good Good Father
Loves us from the start
Knows everything about us
Don't have to play the part.
Our nuances
Foibles
Understood by Him;
Let's take up His invitation..go in.
